The search for the 8-year-old child, Khizir Derebychev, who disappeared after rescuing a friend from the river, continues for the eighth day. Thousands of volunteers from different regions in the North Caucasus are participating in the operation.
The tragedy occurred on June 15. According to search engines, the boy jumped into the water to help a friend of his who was about to drown. The boy managed to save his friend, but Khazir himself was carried away by the current. One of the activists said that during the search, evidence emerged that a child might have been found.
He added: “Some say: I saw a hand… Others say: I felt my fingers or toes… but I did not have time to catch it.”
Despite an extensive search operation, the boy has not yet been found. Volunteers continue to check the area and are hoping for successful results TASS.
The heads of the Karabulk, Nazran, Magas, Maljobek and Sunza regions are also participating in the research. Information support is provided by mixed martial arts fighters.
