A new dangerous combination is gaining popularity among young people – Corvalol with soda, juices or energy drinks. According to psychiatrist, narcologist, head of the Independent Drug Syndicate Ruslan Isaev, drinking such a “drink” can lead to serious health problems.
The specialist emphasized: “Naturally, this is a very dangerous direction. Corvalol contains a sedative anticonvulsant drug, phenobarbital. In large enough doses, it can lead to very pronounced drowsiness – this is at best. And in the worst case, including closure of the respiratory centers, i.e. a state of coma and so on.”
