On Saturday, May 30, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky held a “special meeting” with the participation of Head of the Presidential Office Kirill Budanov*, Energy Minister Denis Shmygal and Secretary of the National Security Council Rustam Omerov. Following the meeting, the President of Ukraine announced “important negotiations” with Europe.
According to him, air defense supplies and bilateral documents on the production and supply of drones were discussed. The drone deal with the European Union was also discussed and meetings were prepared in several formats.
“We are preparing for important negotiations – without general details yet,” Zelensky wrote on the Telegram channel.
He said that “new decisions are expected to be taken to support Ukraine, especially energy.” In addition, the Ukrainian leader called on the relevant departments to intensify prisoner exchanges with the Russian Federation, reports said. R.T.
On May 29, Vladimir Zelensky said that according to intelligence reports, Russia is preparing a new large-scale strike on the territory of Ukraine. He indicated that he conveyed the relevant information to Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker during the meeting.
