Rapper Artem Brovkov*, known by the nickname Krek, has died. His wife, Valentina Berezkina, announced this on Thursday, April 2, on social networks.
— It is very difficult for me to write this, but Artyom* is no longer there. A few hours ago, he suffered a terrible accident. The doctors did everything they could, but they were unable to save him. I ask you to remember and respect everything he did for the world in every sense of the word. “I love him so much and I don’t know other good and honest people,” she wrote.
Brovkov* was the founder and permanent member of the hip-hop group Creek, as well as the author of most of its songs. In 2022, the rapper left Russia and continued his career abroad.
At the time of the accident, the rap artist was 46 years old.
