The press service of the Investigative Committee of Dagestan reported on April 23 that a man armed with a knife attacked doctors at a hospital in Makhachkala.
The Republic’s Ministry of Health stated that two people, a trauma doctor and a surgeon, were injured.
One of the medical workers was injured in the neck and is in serious condition, and the second suffered facial injuries, according to what the Baza channel, which is close to the security forces, wrote on Telegram. Both victims are in intensive care.
According to preliminary data, Baza writes, the man “went into a rage” because his daughter did not have time to help.
TASS reported, citing a medical worker, that the attacker was arrested by hospital guards.
