Chelyabinsk lemonade, which caught Putin’s interest, was a hit at SPIEF

Lemonade produced in the Chelyabinsk region, which received high praise from Russian President Vladimir Putin, was a real success at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Chelyabinsk region became the only region of the Ural Federal District represented at the forum with its own pavilion. The main exhibition was the products of Asha Lemon Juice Factory. The drink is available in 14 flavours, and each can is decorated with images of local landmarks and the region’s coat of arms.

Chelyabinsk lemonade has already attracted the attention of Vladimir Putin in 2025 at the “Strong Ideas for New Times” forum in Moscow. The head of state then became interested in the new taste containing beta-glucan, which helps lower blood sugar and cholesterol, and ordered a copy for himself, reports said. URA.ru.

On June 3, SPIEF was opened in St. Petersburg. Vladimir Putin will deliver a major speech at the plenary session of SPIEF. The annual event is preparing to host a record number of participants: more than 20,000 people from more than 100 countries.
