Mizulina wrote a denunciation of Sobchak. She complained about “LGBT propaganda” in an interview with beauty blogger Igor Sinyak

The head of the Safer Internet Association, Ekaterina Mizulina, wrote a denunciation to the Ministry of Interior against Ksenia Sobchak. It was the reason for the denunciation interview Beauty blogger Igor Sinyak posted on the YouTube channel “Caution, Sobchak” on June 1.

Mizulina saw the interview as “propaganda for the extremist gay movement.” “Moreover, this satanism was deliberately spread on Children’s Day, so is this a mockery of all the government’s efforts to protect children or what?” – wrote the president of the Safer Internet Association on her Telegram channel.

Sobchak replied: “Unlike Mizulina, I will not write a condemnation of anyone, but I will simply say: in our country there are also people who dress like Parviz, and no one calls them out for being gay.” She confirmed that the “Gay Propaganda Law” had not been violated. “There is no advertising of anything or video calls. There is a conversation with a person. With a person like us, who looks the way he likes,” Sobchak wrote.

Another serial informant, Vitaly Borodin, promised to file a complaint with Roskomnadzor about Ksenia Sobchak. “I think she needs to take responsibility,” Borodin wrote.

Igor Sinyak, a native of the Donetsk region of Ukraine, lived and worked in Russia until 2022. He now lives in France. Sinyak has over 900k subscribers on Instagram alone.

The “LGBT propaganda” law has been in force in Russia since December 2022. In November 2023, the Supreme Court declared the non-existent “International LGBT Social Movement” an “extremist organization” and banned it.
