American singer Oliver Tree was killed in a collision between two helicopters in the Recreo dos Bandeirantes area, southwest of Rio de Janeiro, CNN Brazil reported, citing police.
In total, six people died in the plane crash. Five of them, including Argentine musician and YouTube blogger Gaspar Prima, were in the same helicopter. The other had only the pilot.
After the collision, the helicopters fell into the electric car parking lot. At least 20 cars caught fire. The causes of the collision are still unknown.
Oliver Tree (real name Oliver Tree Nickel) is the author of the hits “When I’m Down”, “Life Goes On”, “Alien Boy” and “Hurt”. He was 32 years old. He was in Rio de Janeiro as part of a world tour.
