MGIMO graduate student Tatyana Kurashkevich, wanted by the FBI, was arrested in Georgia. The woman was arrested at Tbilisi International Airport at the request of the United States. The Georgian Ministry of Interior announced this on Friday, June 5, on social media.
Kurashkevich is suspected of facilitating criminal activity, participating in a criminal conspiracy, and money laundering. The United States is pressing for her extradition.
