- You can ignore the subpoena entirely or try, but in this case you should be prepared.
- You may file a claim in which you will not be able to appear.

How can they put pressure on you in the military registration and enlistment office
Reservists are often offered to join the reserves. It is not worth doing this, because reservists have the status of military personnel – it will be difficult for you to resign, you will be required to go to training and follow orders. Can I be sent to training camp? Is it possible to refuse?
Yes, they can send them to training camps, but not everyone. You need to match the string. It is important to understand that you may be called to the training camp after you attend to clarify your statements. You also need to prepare for this in advance.
The worst thing that can happen in training camp itself is – again – being drafted for a contract. This happens through threats, deception and manipulation, and resisting it under conditions of such pressure is more difficult than in a military registration and enlistment office, where you can leave (almost) immediately. You may refuse to participate in the training camp for one of the following reasons:
- If you have the right to exemption for health reasons, in relation to full-time or part-time studies.
- If your beliefs conflict with military service and on that basis you will apply for ACS.
- There are other reasons, all of which are found in Article 55 of the Conscription Law.
Another option is not to appear when called to the meeting and at the same time send the necessary documents for refusal remotely. In this case, there is a risk of facing consequences for non-attendance (and only with them; in principle, no liability for refusal of fees is provided). Maybe just leave the country? Will they let me out?
At the moment there are no restrictions on citizens leaving Russia. To leave or not, it’s up to you to decide.
