The Poklonka Film Club at the Victory Museum has approved the program for the first summer month. As part of it will be shown a film that has become one of the central events of the celebration of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War – “Angels of Ladoga”.
The film, directed by Alexander Kott, will be screened on June 23 at the Poklonka Film Club.
— This is the opening film of the 48th Moscow International Film Festival. The story is about a detachment of sailing athletes who in November 1941 delivered ammunition to besieged Leningrad and rescued orphans from an orphanage. The main roles in the film are played by Tikhon Zhisnevsky, Roman Evdokimov, Ksenia Traister, Viktor Dobronravov, Polina Agoreva, Evgeny Sedykhin. “After the film, we plan to have a discussion with the famous psychologist Alla Shevchenko,” said Cinema Club presenter Gennady Khodos.
The June Film Club program will open with the American family comedy Cats Learn to Fly. The screening will take place on June 4 at 4 p.m.
