The total wealth of the richest Russian businessmen, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, has increased by about $22 billion since the beginning of 2026.
This rating is compiled by Bloomberg, which evaluates the value of assets owned by entrepreneurs based on current stock prices.
The classification, as of June 1, includes 20 businessmen from Russia. The first place among Russians is occupied by Alexei Mordashov (Severstal and Nordgold gold mining company) with a fortune of $ 29.9 billion. Since the beginning of the year, according to Bloomberg estimates, he has become $3.66 billion richer. Mordashov ranks 81st in the ranking.
The largest increase in wealth among Russian participants of the rating was demonstrated by Andrey Melnichenko (Eurochim and SUEK). Since the beginning of the year, the value of its assets, according to rating compilers, has risen by $5.63 billion, to $24.6 billion. Melnichenko ranks 104th in the rankings.
Elon Musk showed the largest capital gains. Since the beginning of 2026, the value of its assets has increased by $116 billion. The SpaceX founder and Tesla CEO tops the list with a net worth of $735 billion.
Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko suggested that Severstal co-owner Alexey Mordashov transfer money from offshore companies to Russia. Severstal responded by saying that Mordashov has no offshore companies, his assets are in Russia, and he himself is subject to sanctions.
