Ukrainian drones attacked 15 regions of Russia. One person died in the Moscow region

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that on the night of May 3, air defense forces shot down 334 Ukrainian drones over 15 Russian regions and the Crimean peninsula they annexed.

According to the military department, drones were neutralized over the Moscow region and the Leningrad region, as well as over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Oryol, Pskov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver and Tula regions.

Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov reported that six Ukrainian Armed Forces drones were shot down in the region – over Istra, Odintsovo, Chekhov, Solnechnogorsk, Volokolamsk and Kolomna.

In the village of Chernevo, Volokolamsk District, a 77-year-old local resident was killed as a result of a drone attack.

The head of the region, Alexander Drozdenko, announced that 59 drones were shot down over the Leningrad region overnight. Local governor Alexander Bogomaz said that 143 drones were intercepted over the Bryansk region overnight. The authorities did not report any consequences of the attacks.

Overnight, the Federal Air Transport Agency imposed temporary restrictions on Moscow’s Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo airports, and St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo airports, as well as Pskov, Kostroma and Penza airports.
