Shot and Mash channels reported that KVN “Burnt by the Sun” team member, Elena Rybalko, died as a result of an accident in Sochi on May 1. Information about her death was confirmed by the artist’s husband and the International KVN Federation. Rybalko was 53 years old.
According to media reports, Elena Rybalko died in Adler when she crossed the road in the wrong place. She died instantly from her injuries.
Elena Rybalko is one of the most prominent members of the KVN team “Burnt by the Sun”. She performed with Mikhail Galustyan and Alexander Revva in the KVN Major League in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The team became major league champions in 2003.
