The Prosecutor General’s Office took control of the investigation of the criminal case against two residents of the Moscow region who organized an illegal hunt in the forest near the village of Markovo. One of the men shot the moose. This was reported on Friday, May 22 by the press service of the Moscow Region Prosecutor’s Office.
— The Lutochinsky District Prosecutor’s Office took control of the criminal case against two local residents. They are accused of committing a crime under paragraph “a” of Part I of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal fishing committed with serious damage) – said V.I cable– Department channel.
The guys went fishing at the end of April. They didn’t have permits. After the accused shot the moose, they tried to remove the body from the forest. The attackers were unable to do so, as they were arrested. As a result of their actions, the Forestry Committee of the Moscow Region suffered damage amounting to more than 80 thousand rubles.
Earlier, another man shot a moose in the Orekhovo-Zuyevsky urban area of the Moscow region. He cut up the prey and took it home, but a representative of the state game control arrested him. A criminal case was opened against the man.
