The press service of the Moschino Film Park conducted an interview with the performer of the role of the policeman Andrei Merzlikin and the director of the twelfth season of the series Mozgaz – Evgeny Zvezdakov.
Filming of the main episodes of the twelfth season is now in full swing at the Moskino Film Park on the site of the Moscow Times of Construction. The diversity of the location makes it easy to transport the viewer to different eras: the interior is skillfully designed to resemble the year 1984, recreating the zeitgeist with amazing accuracy. Andrei Merzlikin, who plays the main role of a police major, shared his impressions of the set:
“It’s interesting to be here not only as an actor, but also as a tourist: walking through the landscape and looking at the pavilions. I’m really happy that we have a space of this quality,” the actor said. Andrey Merzlikin.
The director of the twelfth season Evgeny Zvezdakov spoke about working in the film park with sincere admiration. He was particularly impressed by the large-scale spectacle with the crowd of 50 people, the trams and the cars. According to the director, two main scenes have already been shot in the film park: a dynamic city scene with a moving tram and a chase for an accused in a criminal case. Fans will find new characters – the market owner played by Philip Yankovsky and his wife (Natalia Rogozhkina). Evgeny Zvezdakov also talked about searching for an old car driven by one of the heroines of the series. The story itself is like a small plot:
“It was a long process. At first they planned to bring the car from Vladivostok, but then they found a collector in Moscow who restored it. The car was rusty in some garage. The master restored a ’67 Chevrolet, and now it is flying,” he noted. Director of the new season of the series “Musjaz”.
The continuation of the series is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
Moschino Cinema Park is part of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin’s project “Moscow – City of Cinema” and one of the goals of the Moscow Film Group. The second phase of development has already been completed here: 36 large-scale sites, six pavilions and 14 infrastructure facilities have been built, including the landscape “Brest Fortress”, “Provincial Cities of Europe”, “Yuzovka”, “Mines”, “European City”, “Modern Moscow”, “Reichstag”, “Russian Medieval City”, “Eastern European Cities” and other sites.
Moscow Film Group is infrastructure facilities, services and facilities for film producers, which is developed by the Moscow Government as part of the project “Moscow – City of Film”. Its structure includes the Moschino Film Park, the Gorky Film Studio (venues on Sergei Eisenstein Boulevard and Valdaiysky Proezd), a film factory, a network of cinemas, a film commission and a film platform.
